Information department

VCRO is committed to the electronic clinical development of medicine, set up a full-time independent information department. The Information Department is staffed by engineers with information background and professional training, who not only maintain a sound information environment, but also develop medical clinical research system tools. 2004 built the first set of electronic data processing (EDC) and knowledge management system in accordance with FDA 21 CFR Part 11; In 2006, the first clinical trial speech system (VCROIVRS) was established. In 2009, the first CRO in Taiwan introduced Oracle Clinical CDMS (OC CDMS) clinical data processing system; In 2011, we took the lead in providing electronic CTD (eCTD) FDA delivery service; The lightweight EDC (EDC Lite) launched in 2018 is more intuitive, easier to learn and less burdensome; In 2024, Oracle Clinical One (OC1), which complies with ISO, FDA and CDISC standards, will be adopted. All kinds of system import and development, from requirements analysis, system design, program writing, database construction, testing and verification to release online, are from the hands of the information department.
